Transactional Analysis Counselling & Psychotherapy
Transactional analysis (TA) is a widely recognised form of modern psychology, and is regarded as one of the most accessible theories of psychotherapy. In simple terms, TA is a therapeutic tool for positive change and growth. It is a therapy which has been developed for well-being and for helping individuals to reach their full potential in all aspects of life.
I have been trained to use Transactional Analysis as an ‘integrative psychotherapy’ creating a treatment approach unique for each client using; Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Integrative, Psychoanalytical, and Solution-focused modalities.
As a therapy it has demonstrated its effectiveness for helping people deal with anxiety and panic attacks, depression, physical, sexual and emotional abuse, anger management, behavioural problems, bereavement and grief, bullying, career support, family issues, fertility, infertility and miscarriage, sadness, loneliness, low self-esteem and confidence, post natal depression, relationship problems, sexual problems, trauma, illness, addictions, eating disorders, spirituality and many more of life’s challenges.
